My Countertop Shop’s roots began long before their doors opened in 2008.
Ron Lamain's passion for the kitchen and bath industry started in the 1980’s when he as a young man sold wood working tools. As Ron continued on through the years, he ran a small cabinet installation business which led to more than a decade of running his business of manufacturing and fabricating Solid Surface products which led to his business partnership with Cambria Quartz.
My Countertop Shop’s doors opened in 2008 as one of the first Certified Installer Associate's of Cambria Quartz, in Ontario. ``Working with Cambria, another family owned business, has been an exciting business partnership!``
The family owned focus has led to the growth of the business as Ron, his wife Kathy and two of their children, have been working alongside the team of 12 staff at the company.
``We are a great team that work well together, everyday, as we serve our Kitchen and Bath Companies and Designers, said Ron. ``Our integrity, our hardworking approach, as well as, going the extra mile, serving all of Ontario, providing the beautiful North American made Cambria quartz, has made us who we are today!``
My Countertop Shop still holds ties with their earlier beginnings, and continue to offer other Solid Surface countertops!
